Care and Service
Our Care and Service Committee is active year round with in gatherings for Local, national, and international Aid Organizations. Every Month there is a drive that we are collecting for throughout the year, that schedule is below.
Our Care and Service Committee has many point throughout the year that we are doing service events, such as making Lap Quilts for Homebound members and Lutheran Home of Mercy, Making Tie Blankets for Lutheran World Relief, Overnight assistance at Family Promise of Delaware County, helping distribute at the Holiday Clearing House for People In Need of Delaware County, etc.
Many of our Care and Service members also volunteer help Pastor in visiting and bring communion to our Homebound Members. The Team of Home Bound Communion ministers also started up our Semi Annual Sit-Down Service at Christmas and Easter for persons that have difficulty getting out for the holidays, as well as our Christmas and Easter Worship at a Local Nursing Home.
