Caring Ministries:
|
The Caring Ministries keep the congregation informed about
needs within and beyond our community, as well as what we can do to help
satisfy those needs. Through this ministry members of the congregation work
with local and extra-local organizations to help others in need through
raising of funds, cooking and serving at the Andrews House Second Friday
dinners, gathering and donating food to panteries as well as for seasonal
occasions, to name a few activities. |

Education Ministries:
|
The Education Ministries provide opportunities
to members and non-members of the congregation to learn about Christ, to
grow to a fuller knowledge about Him and enjoy the company of other like-minded
Christians. Bible camps include family camps as well as youth camps where
fun, worship, and growth take place. |

House Ministries:
|
The House Ministries involve two very different
aspects of congregational life: worship (Alter Guild) and service (Food).
The Alter Guild is the caretaker of the chancel area, which includes
changing the paraments and linens according to the church season, arranging
flowers on the altar, replacing candles, and preparing communion. The Food
ministry involves preparing and serving food after funerals or for any other
event, upon request. |

Life Ministries:
|
Life Ministries include:
- Events that are mainly for social purposes (such as Softball ).
- Fellowship events that also build up each other spiritually (Mary
Marth Guild).
- Activities that focus on building the church in general (Greeters
and the Outreach Ministry).
Each ministry enables fellow Christians to interact on a personal basis
and encourages them to become a part of each others lives.

Worship Ministries:
|
Worship and music is an essential part of the Christian experience. The
worship ministries at St. Mark's enable members of the congregation to
plan, lead, and beautify our worship of God as well as actively participate
in the worship.
Worship at St. Mark's include Sunday laturgical services, mid-week Advent
and Lenten services, monthly gospel/old favorites music services in place
of the laturgical service, and occasionally worship services with a special
focus.
The Worship Ministries assist the pastor with planning and leading the
services, and bring special praise to God through the vocal and handbell
choirs..
