ST. MARK'S/THRIVENT/HABITAT PARTNER TO BUILD A HOUSE IN DELAWARE!!!
Thrivent Builds is working with Habitat for Humanity and has committed to heavily
sponsoring the building of a house for a needy family in Delaware, one of 310
housing projects in the US this year. Contingent on funding is a major volunteer
effort from Lutherans in the community. We at St. Mark's will do a significant
portion of the construction, and we need your help! Starting this spring, we
will need teams to do many things associated with this project. Be thinking
about it, and if you are ready to be a part of this worthy effort, please sign
up on the bulletin board in the narthex. Even if you can only work one day every
2 months, or if you are not currently in the hammer swinging mode but are willing
to assist in other ways, we really need your help! Thanks much!
