| The Christian symbols in the mosaic above the front door best represents our beliefs. The SHIELD AND CROSS is the shield of faith, part of the armor of a Christian. The CROSS signifies faith in Christ. The HAND OF GOD is the most ancient Christian symbol of God representing His creative power. The BURNING TORCH is the symbol signifying witnessing for Christ. The DOVE expresses innocence and purity and is the most widely used symbol for the Holy Spirit. ALPHA AND OMEGA represents that Jesus Christ is the beginning and the end of all things.
